The SeeSander is a see through Disc sander/grinder/polisher designed to allow the user to see their workpiece clearly through the disc as they are sanding/grinding/polishing. The disc is made from a durable semi rigid polycarbonate with a special oven fired silicon carbide abrasive bonded directly to the disc. The coarse grit disc is equilavent to 50 to 60 grit; medium is 100 to 120 grit and fine is 180 to 220 grit. The disc is designed to be used in any regular power drill; grinder; sander or polisher with speeds from 800 to 3,500 RPM. The disc size is 6" (plus or minus 1/4") diameter and approximately .090" thick.

See through ability is accomplished by a series of openings or holes designed and placed strategically in the disc to provide the best possible visibility while leaving a maximum amount of abrasive surface to accomplish adequate desired material removal from the workpiece and maintain adequate rigidity and durability of the disc.
